Duda Falcão Director of INPE Becomes an ACM "Senior Member" Wednesday , August 31, 2011 Gilberto Câmara, Geoinformatics scientist and General Director of Brazil's National Institute for Space Research (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE), has been recognized as "Senior Member" of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, with more than 90 thousand members worldwide. The title of "Senior Member" is given to ACM members with at least 10 years of professional experience and who have demonstrated performance in Computer Science that sets them apart from their peers.
